Anyone can order, including people purchasing with EBT. Each person who buys a box helps expand the Top Box Louisiana community and is directly contributing to a building a more equitable and localized food system.

No sign up fees, delivery fees, enrollments, subscriptions or order minimums are required.

The produce in our Growing Local Box and our Crescent City Farmers’ Market Boxes, available in Jefferson and Orleans Parish, are all from local farmers.

The produce in Top Box brand boxes is generally sourced from the same distributors as a grocery store, but often includes items from local farmers.

Individual local items are often available for purchase from vendors a la carte in our online store.

Top Box is happy to accept credit, debit and EBT payment methods along with gift cards and discount codes. Top Box cannot accept cash or check for home delivery at this time.

We accept EBT/SNAP on all purchases online or over the phone. Simply add items to your cart, click your cart to check out, enter your delivery and contact information, then select “EBT” as the payment method to securely enter your payment details. If you order over the phone at 504-304-2319, you will be asked to verbally provide your EBT card details. A staff member will enter these details into the same secure online form that we use for online purchases. Your payment details will NOT be saved by TBF when ordering with either method.

No, Top Box Foods does not charge delivery fees on any Market order.

A match will be earned on every EBT order in Orleans, Jefferson, East Baton Rouge, West Baton Rouge, Livingston, and Ascension Parishes. A code will be added to your receipt and sent to your email within a week after your delivery day. Please add info.nola@topboxfoods.com to your email contacts and save your receipts so that you can access your codes. This code can be entered into the “gift card or discount code” field at checkout. In Orleans and Jefferson Parish, this will only be applied on orders that include fresh fruits or vegetables. A code can only be used once, regardless of amount used. The best way to determine your final order total is to enter your code and enter the checkout process with items you want. Your code will not be used up until you click “Pay Now.”

All items purchased using EBT dollars for delivery in Orleans, Jefferson, East Baton Rouge, West Baton Rouge, Livingston, and Ascension Parishes are eligible for earning a dollar-for-dollar Match.

Match earned in East Baton Rouge, West Baton Rouge, Livingston, and Ascension Parishes can be used on any future purchase.

Market Match in Jefferson and Orleans Parish can only be spent on fresh fruits and vegetables in a future order. Click on items to see their description; eligible items will say “Market Match eligible.” The best way to determine your final order total is to enter your codes and enter the checkout process with items you want. Your code will not be used up until you click “Pay Now.”

Now, you can enter your payment details at checkout as if it were a credit or debit card. EBT dollars will be withdrawn at time of purchase, just like a debit card. EBT purchases may still be made over the phone. You no longer have to be present in order to pay for a delivery with EBT; once you get the Onfleet text, respond to indicate if you’d like your order left at your door. 

For those using Market Match in Orleans and Jefferson Parish: Match can now be earned on ANY item, but still must be spent on fresh fruits and vegetables. 

For those in Orleans, Jefferson, East Baton Rouge, West Baton Rouge, Livingston, and Ascension Parishes: Match can no longer be applied instantly; you must use the code acquired through your receipt or email to discount a future purchase. Match can still be used over the phone.

Each Match-eligible purchase will create a separate Match code. At this time, completing a purchase with a Match code, regardless of amount used, will cause the code to be redeemed in full. Please select your code that best matches your order total. You do not have to use codes immediately; large code amounts can be saved for large future orders. Your codes will not expire.

Typically between 9am and 5pm. You will receive a text message at the phone number provided the morning of your delivery that contains a tracking link and allows you to contact your driver.

We understand that you may not be home at the time of delivery selected at check out. If you are unable to be home please follow the text prompts on day of delivery to let us know.

Crescent City Farmers Market boxes are only delivered in Jefferson and Orleans on Tuesdays (if ordered by 3pm the Friday before) and the Growing Local Bags are only delivered on Fridays (If ordered by 3pm the day before).

Yes! Non-Market Match discounts can be used on all orders. Market Match is earned on any order placed with an EBT card. Market Match coupons can only be applied to orders containing produce.

We currently do not collect boxes after delivery, however, we suggest reusing your box for compost, planter bases, crafts, or storage. Your local community garden may be interested in receiving donated cardboard boxes.

If you have a Growing Local Crate or jar, please leave these on your doorstep for collection and recirculation.
